About the role
At team.blue, covering renowned entities like DanDomain, ScanNet, and Curanet, we have developed an online payment solution, OnPay, serving a majority of the Nordic online stores.
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (PO) to ensure that the product aligns with the needs and preferences of our clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Your primary responsibilities include defining the product vision, managing feature prioritization, and ensuring successful project execution. You will serve as the key representative of the product, collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive alignment and success.
You will report to the Product Unit Director of E-commerce.
What you'll do – responsibilities
- Product vision & strategy: Define and communicate the overall vision of the payment platform in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Backlog prioritization: Manage and prioritize backlog items to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Project management: Oversee project priorities and structure, ensuring that large-scale projects adhere to our project model.
- Data-driven decision making: Continuously measure product performance and usage to make informed decisions that impact customer acquisition and retention.
- Problem solving: Identify and address technical challenges, guiding the team in continuous improvement based on testing and feedback.
- Stakeholder communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate product updates internally and externally through various channels (e.g., Slack, Changelogs, newsletters, webinars).
- Market & product insights: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the e-commerce and payment industry in Europe, leveraging insights to inform strategic product decisions.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in the Payment industry, or a strong track record of working closely with the payment sector.
- Strong business analysis skills with a deep understanding of strategy and alignment with company vision.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with development teams and internal/external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in releasing products and achieving business objectives.
- Great teamwork skills and the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
- Experience or subject matter expertise in the e-commerce ecosystem is a plus.
